World Cup Pick'em — Rules

The World Cup Pick'em is a free-to-enter prediction contest run by Spark Timing, Inc. ("we," "our," "us") on timingai.app for entertainment. No purchase is necessary; buying a prediction pass does not affect Pick'em scoring or your odds of winning.
1. How to enter
Sign in and predict matches before kickoff. Picks lock at kickoff and can be changed any time before then. Entry is free.
2. How points work
Each match has a result value = its stage base × strength tier. You earn that value for a correct result (win / draw / loss), or 3× the value for nailing the exact final score (the exact-score points replace the result points).

Strength tier (multiplier)
- ×1.5 — heavyweight tie (two strong sides)
- ×1.2 — one strong side
- ×1.0 — everything else
Each match shows its value (and any multiplier) on the schedule and on the match page. Example: a Group-stage heavyweight (10 × 1.5 = 15) is worth 15 for the result, or 45 for the exact score.
Only full-time results count. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not change the score used for Pick'em.
3. The prize
The player ranked #1 on the Pick'em leaderboard at the end of the 2026 World Cup receives a $250 USDprize. Ties are broken by most exact-score hits, then most correct results, then earliest entry. We will contact the winner by the email on their account; if we can't reach the winner within 14 days, the prize may pass to the next-ranked eligible player.
4. Eligibility
Open to registered users aged 16 or older, except where prohibited by law. Employees of Spark Timing, Inc. and their immediate family are not eligible. The contest is void where prohibited. Players are responsible for any taxes on the prize.
5. Fair play
One account per person. We may remove entries or disqualify players for multiple accounts, automated picks, or any attempt to manipulate the leaderboard. We may correct scoring errors and adjust standings accordingly.
6. Entertainment only
Predictions and probabilities in the World Cup Zone are a blend of data and astrology, for entertainment only — not betting advice or real odds.
